How do I know if a blog post has the Tracking Code verified?
You can check the Work Submitted tab in your campaign to see if your blog post's Tracking Code was verified.
If a blog post has a
beside the blog post link, that means that Activate was unable to automatically verify the presence of the Tracking Code, but you have confirmed it was added at the time of work submission. If you see the little yellow flag, please read below for instructions on how to manually verify the Tracking Code.
How do I manually verify the Tracking Code in a blog post?
1. Visit that blog post link. Right click and select 'View Page Source'. Or you can access the source code of the page through your browser menu.
2. Once you have the source code open on your browser, search for the custom code by using the keyboard shortcut Command+F on your Mac, or CTRL+F if you're using a PC. In the search field, add the code which you have required the bloggers to insert in their post.
3. If code is found, it will be highlighted by the browser. If not, there will be zero results.
If you do not find the code in the blog post, you can message the influencer via the Activate platform with instructions to include the code.
If you have any difficulties, please reach out to your account manager or submit a ticket.
